Choose a Card, Any Card – Magic Trick

by Mark David

Magicians each have their own way of presenting their tricks but have you ever notice how they, I'm sure even you do it, would start one of their card tricks with words that goes something like "choose a card, any card"? And then the oblivious audience would then obligingly choose a card, all the while thinking he had a say on the card he chooses or that it was entirely of his own violation that he chose that particular card.

There are now so many magic, illusions, mentalism tricks done by a lot of magicians, illusionists, mentalists and conjurers to keep up with the ever changing trend of entertaining audience the world over but something remains the same and true to this day and that is the fascination of the audience with card tricks and their delight in being able to participate.

And for this reason, age old card tricks are still here to stay with magicians giving it some few fresh twist here and there. Most of these magic card tricks allows audience to pick a card, any card, let's them sign it and then viola! Their chosen card appears somewhere else, was torn into two and then restored and a whole lot of other card tricks.

Amateurs and professionals alike have one or two (possibly more) card tricks up their sleeve whenever and wherever they perform, it's a classic magic trick, easy to learn and with so many ways in which to present it that leaves audience bowled over and amazed, there is no question most performers in the art of magic still love this to be a part of their routine. It still sells, it's that simple.
